orca is an architecture practice founded by Thomas Cristea, Fabian Egle and Lino Mercolli in 2024.

Based in Zurich and Freiburg in Breisgau, orca approaches architecture as a catalyst for social encounters and considers the city and the territory as a living network. An interdisciplinary and networked thinking approach enables innovations for good architectural practice.

orca aims to connect different scales, from spatial development to architectural construction detail. With precise and robust spatial concepts, we contribute to the future-oriented development of space, especially in the inner development of urban systems.

Thomas studied at the AAM in Mendrisio and obtained his degree at EPFL in Lausanne.

Fabian studied architecture at KIT in Karlsruhe and at EPFL. He graduated from TU München in urbanism.

Lino studied architecture at EPFL and graduated at ETH Zürich.
